Do portable buildings need a foundation?
Yes, every shed needs a proper base, but not a permanent foundation. Our sheds are built with pressure-treated 4×4 skids as part of the floor system. These skids rest on a prepared gravel pad or concrete pad, which serves as the actual ground foundation. This keeps the building level, stable, and well-drained, while still allowing it to be moved in the future if needed.
